Making of Jackgery Mash


Main Ingredients:

  1. Ripen Jack Fruit 1 cup

  2. Jaggery 1 cup

  3. Ghee 1/2 cup

  4. Water


Jack Fruit Paste Process

  1. Remove jackfruit cloves from the fruit ( a ripe one)

  2. Take 1 cup of Jackfruit and grind it into a smooth paste

  3. Keep it aside


Jaggery Process

  1. Take 1 cup of Jaggery mix it with 3 spoons of water

  2. Now boil jaggery till it gets the consistency of a paste (not too thick or too thin)

  3. Once got the paste consistency, take out to a bowl and let it cool (while cooling it gets thicker, check for the proper consistency)

Jackgery Mash Process


  1. Take a kadai, pour the jackfruit paste and jaggery paste and saute well, keep the stove on a medium or low flame

  2. Keep stirring till the jackfruit gets thick paste paste consistency. 

  3. At the end add ghee, give a good mix and switch off the flame
