Melting Butter Crust Mellows (வெண்ணை கசடு) an authentic agraharam(அக்கிரஹாரம்) style recipe and special sweet prepared with the final extract while boiling ghee from butter 🧈. Sweet memories from the granny's 👵 kitchen when we were kids. It's an instant sweet and can be prepared in 5 minutes and it's yummy 😋. Making of Melting Butter 🧈 Crust Mellows



Main Ingredients:


  1. Butter 🧈 Crust (கசடு)

  2. Rice 🍚 Flour 2 tbsp

  3. Sugar 2 tbsp

  4. Cashew 2

  5. Raisins 4


Cashew Roast


  • Take a tawa and add 1 tbsp ghee on a low flame


  • Add cashews and fry till golden


  • Add raisins and saute for few seconds


  • Take out of tawa and keep it aside





Melting Butter 🧈 Crust Mellows Process



  1. Take a tawa and melt butter 🧈

  2. When it comes to ghee consistency take out the butter and switch off the flame

  3. There will be some excess butter crust

  4. Add 2 tbsp rice 🍚 flour

  5. Grind 2 tbsp sugar to a powder consistency in a mixer grinder

  6. Add ground sugar and give a good mix

  7. Finally add roasted cashews, raisins and mix well

  8. Make a random shaped mellows and have a sweet bite instantly
